B. tech web series is a series that has gradually become the talk of the town. From its writer TharunBhasckar to its director Upendra Varma, B.tech talks about three engineering students who have an indisputable passion for other things that are not related to their line of study. TharunBhasckar (Pelli Choopulu and Ee Nagaraniki Emaidi famed artist), he got the inspiration for this wonderful film, from different people’s life story. Upendra, famous for the short film 'Last Night’, was star-struck by the story and pushed Tharun to debut it. Having studied together in kindergarten, Hyderabad public school, the two worked together to success the B.tech Web Series to the completion of its first season with 9 episodes. It was later premiered on the 15th November 2018.
Cast & Crew: Played by Kaushik Ghantasala, Abhay Bethingati, and Madhulata Reddy, the three cast portray the lives of Abhay, Akthar and Vikram who did the same engineering course but had different aspirations. Abhay is a boy who hails from the village and aspires to make his mark as a businessman. Akthar, on the other side, is a city boy with a great passion for bikes and finally, the film brings Vikram a middle-class student who finds the film as an exonerating experience and would like to pursue it with passion. In the urge of fulfilling their long desired dreams and goals, they encounter massive challenges but their passion sees them through all pain.
Regardless of the financial constraint experienced, the film pushed through successfully with the help of the immense passion from the cast and crew. The film was made successful by the involvement of a hardworking crew. From the wonderful music from, Raghu Dixit Viveka to the great camera crew led by Pratik, B. tech saw to its complete direction and production in just 58 days. This is a great success for a good film that had 80 locations and 80 secondary casts.
